Lamb
Manchester drum-n-bass bands with really haunting melodies and some great tunes. They're one of those bands whose music a lot of people have heard without ever really knowing it. Tracks such as the beautiful "Gorecki" have been remixed by seemingly hundreds of different people. Yet the original, which appears on the eponymous "Lamb" is simple and incredible. Well worth a listen!
Lamb
Lamb came about from the combination of vocalist and songwriter Louise Rhodes and producer / keyboard player Andy Barlow. The two have come together to produce four albums of music which manages to combine some great songwriting with a lot of energy.
The band also has a well-deserved live reputation. The gigs are as incredible as the albums - complexed layered sounds together with programmed beats, live drums and guitar, and double bass.
